Description
Strzyżów site location is the Ground-based fixed site in south-eastern Poland. The site location on the hill surrounded by crop fields and forest is considered background site.
NOTE: The location of the ACTRIS-ICOS Ground-based fixed high atmospheric tower (location target: eastern Poland) has not jet been defined. The Strzyżów site serves as the temporary site.
Scientific scope
The observations of the long-range transported aerosol within ACTRIS Aerosol Remote Sensing component are done in addition to the site everyday activities related to extensive observations of the radiation and aerosol properties using different set of instrumentation., are complemented with radiation
