Description
Exploratory platform, Atmospheric Simulation Chamber
Scientific scope
LACIS-T is a turbulent moist-air wind tunnel designed for the investigation of atmospherically relevant interactions between turbulence and cloud microphysical processes. The objective of the investigations conducted at LACIS is to gain a fundamental understanding of the processes involved, and these studies are complementary to field measurements.
